On May 29–30, 2026, the IV Northwest Conference with international participation "White Nights of Karelia" took place in Petrozavodsk. The event brought together specialists in the fields of phlebology, vascular surgery, angiology, lymphology, and related medical areas.

The scientific program of the conference addressed current issues in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases, venous thromboembolism, post-thrombotic disease, edema syndrome, as well as modern approaches to the use of compression garments in clinical practice.

The company "Ecotene" participated in the conference and presented its products as part of a specialized exhibition. At the company’s booth, specialists could familiarize themselves with medical compression garments and discuss the specifics of selecting products for patients with venous and lymphatic disorders.

Particular attention was paid to the compression sleeve of class 2 compression. The compression sleeve can be used for primary lymphedema, including congenital anomalies of the lymphatic system, as well as for secondary lymphedema — including after mastectomy, radiation therapy, surgeries, injuries, and damage to lymphatic vessels. The product may also be recommended for thrombosis and thrombophlebitis of the veins of the shoulder and forearm, including post-injection complications. The sleeve is securely fixed on the shoulder, does not roll down, and does not constrict the arm. The absence of seams reduces the risk of skin injury, while modern safe materials with a porous structure ensure air and moisture exchange, making the product comfortable for daily use.

The company "Ecotene" regularly participates in specialized medical events where modern approaches to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with diseases of the venous and lymphatic systems are discussed. Such participation helps maintain a professional dialogue with the medical community and develop product solutions taking into account the real challenges of clinical practice.
